SuperDuper! est un logiciel de copie de disque à la fois avancé et facile à utiliser. Il permet bien sûr d’effectuer une copie exacte, ou « clone », ce qui est utile lorsque vous souhaitez transférer toutes vos données d’un ordinateur à un autre ou réaliser une simple sauvegarde. En quelques instants, vous pouvez dupliquer intégralement votre disque de démarrage sur un autre disque, une autre partition ou un fichier image.

I have been using SuperDuper for over a decade now. There is no better clone app out there! I have used CCC (CarbonCopyCloner) and SuperDuper is superior! It has a great GUI, and is Super Stable and is a great insurance policy for your data when you do upgrades and bootable back-ups. Being able to create bootable back-ups gives you piece of mind that if you upgrade the OS, you can always go back to your previous OS. Finally the customer support is bar-none… I upgraded to 3,8, and experienced a minor issue and emailed their support email, and received real time suggestions and solutions… It ended up I just had to reboot my laptop, and then wait patiently for SuperDuper to do its thing….. and success… I was able to upgrade and maintain a ‘safety’ copy …just in case. I purchased this software 10 years ago , and I’m still receiving FREE upgrades and customer support…. It’s the best 29$ I have spent on my Mac! I HIGHLY Recommend this application for all users. You make a clone on an external SSD, and if your hardware fails or is compromised you take your ‘clone’ to any Mac and pick up where you left off, and then when you replace your hardware you merely copy your clone to the new device and you are back in business … right where you left off. Have no doubt this application delivers on all fronts, and the free tech support pays for itself with your first email!

as of this date and SD version 3.12, on the SD website, continues to say Tahoe is only supported in the 3.20 BETA. Tahoe has was released nearly a year ago, and Golden Gate in the next two months. SD, by it's own admission, will then be behind two macOS releases regards full compatibility, unless SD version 4 comes out soon. That doesn't inspire confidence. I have used CCC and SD over the years (many years!). In my personal experience, I have found CCC to be the more reliable. Your experience may be different. As for bootable clones, IMO the approach taken by SD is a bit of a hack, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The approach taken by CCC requires SLIGHTLY more effort to recover, but has never failed for me (namely, do a fresh install of macOS, restore from the backup). CCC backups are compatible with macOS Migration Assistant, the control of snapshots, use of presets, file filtering, backup to non-local targets, provide far more control than SD. AGain, just my experience. The issue I have with SD in the past, is when I positively, absolutely have to restore from a clone and can't afford for anything to go wrong, it has to work the first time, I don't have time to f- around, is often when SD will error out.

I've been stubbornly using CCC for years, but finally found SuperDuper was more reliable! I still use both, mainly because of my presets in CCC and for files filtering, but when I need to clone a whole disk, I go for SuperDuper without a doubt.

Version: 3.11

Version 3.11 is NOT compatible with Tahoe. Here is what is stated on the SuperDuper! site: "Version 3.11 supports bootable backups for Tahoe (via the v3.20 Beta, offered automatically) Sequoia, Sonoma, Ventura, Monterey, Big Sur, is Apple silicon native, adds Dark Mode support, and improves Cloud file handling.". (Note that Tahoe support is via the v3.20 Beta). Looking at Shirt Pocket Watch, David clearly says that v3.20 beta is compatible with Tahoe, except it does not fully support "dark mode". And the upcoming FULL release of SuperDuper! that will be fully compatible with Tahoe is V4.0. Given that Tahoe V26.2 is still in beta, I am sticking with Sequoia V15.7.1 and SuperDuper V3.11 for now. As it is, there is noting earth shattering in Tahoe for me. Sequoia is stable, fully functional, and is STILL fully supported by Apple. I can wait until V4.0 of SuperDuper! arrives, along with a stable version of Tahoe.

The Dev is now offering v3.10.0 BETA on their Blog page. It is at the end of a long blog article about overcoming the bootability problem. Because it's beta, I won't drop the quite long Release Notes. The new features and fixes are extensive, including restored bootability! I'm currently testing it. . . . Meanwhile, v3.9.1 is out.
